Benjamin & Elizabeth’s Winter River Bottoms Ranch Wedding

Elizabeth, the busy medical student, and Benjamin, the sweet hometown boy, met in college at BYU as friends and then soon fell in love. They coordinated their wedding while navigating a long distance relationship, with Elizabeth at school in St. Louis and Benjamin home in Utah.

Their wedding was elegant, classic, and timeless- the perfect combination for a cold November day.

The couple was sealed together in the Draper, Utah temple. Benjamin and Elizabeth along with their family made their way up to River Bottoms Ranch in Midway, Utah for pictures, dinner, and dancing.

Elizabeth and her bridesmaids touched up their hair and makeup, while Mikki Platt took some of our favorite detail shots. Once guests arrived they were met with a hot chocolate bar stocked with whipped cream, marshmallows, candy canes, and custom cocktail napkins.

Guests were seated at farmhouse-style tables with white linens and a mix of tapered and votive candles down the center. The gold flower stands scattered throughout the venue added some beautiful height to the tablescapes. They were filled with white and blush pink flowers and lots of greenery. Each place setting started with gold chargers and flatware. Light blue napkins were folded in a long rectangle with a pocket for the custom menu. The highlight of each place setting was the perfect vintage blue water goblet, encapsulating the colors, ambiance, and energy in one piece.

Benjamin & Elizabeth have lots of nieces and nephew’s so at each child’s place setting was placed a ribbon wand, coloring book, and crayons to keep them occupied throughout the night’s activities. During toasts, the groom’s nieces and nephews gave the bride a darling gift basket filled with items and supplies to make it easier for her to live with Ben.

After toasts, cake cutting, and dancing the couple was sent-off with white-LED balloons. It was the picture perfect ending to the beautiful winter wedding day at River Bottoms Ranch.
