Meet Julie,
Hello! I’m Julie Ann Walker, founder of Ruby Jane Events. Born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley, I love this city and state. Showing people what Utah has to offer brings me such joy! One of my favorite things on this earth is seeing people in love. After years working in the event industry I created Ruby Jane Events in August 2020. I have extensive knowledge and experience in events from corporate events, family events, and weddings. I got my start with a degree in Interior Design and have translated that into designing and executing events. I’ve worked at wedding venues, with high end destination wedding planners, and as a corporate event planner. I am so excited to be a part of your love story and I can't wait to meet you!
What I love most about this work is watching everything come together — seeing a couple surrounded by the people they love, fully present in a space that reflects who they are. It’s the quiet satisfaction of knowing that every decision, every timeline, and every table detail added up to something extraordinary.

I’m a lifelong Disney lover — I have an annual pass and never say no to one more day at the parks (or one more churro).
I grew up figure skating and still love the feeling of being on the ice — it’s where I find balance and a little creative spark.
I love playing golf and spending time outdoors, especially on a sunny Utah afternoon.
You’ll often find me at an NHL game, cheering from the stands and soaking up the energy of the rink.
My favorite foods? A crisp Caesar salad and anything sweet.
On wedding days, my secret fuel is a protein shake and a handful of peanut M&M’s — equal parts practical and sweet.
